Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200 meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium across her diverse events during the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
